Only one more post after this and my painting will be long forgotten. Even before it gets its proper appreciation.

Of course I like the Rude!
Love the Rude!
GOT to love the Rude...

But the pale white boobs remind me that I should never take my shirt off...

Heck I did live figure drawing/painting for 8 years...
You learn alot, but end up with a mountain of drawings of nude folks!

BTW, some folks get bothered at naked boobs in art, others get bothered
when art gets covered with giant white spots...
ya just can't win, can ya?

Paul- you going to New York or Pittsburgh this month?
Anyone else going? I'm actually going to be able to spend most of Saturday
at the NY con. Can't wait!

Pittsburgh= Awkward Con 2008!
Can't wait for that...

Dave, I'm not going to New York. I'm still up in the air about Pittsburg. I'm planning on heading to the Motor City Con (I have to meet Avery Brooks) either Friday or Saturday in May. Subway is running a national five dollar campaign that is kicking my butt in increased volume. So I know I can't do Pittsburgh or Motor City for more than one day.

I got to meet Avery Brooks last summer here in columbus. Paid a crazy amount (to me) to get a signed picture.
Now, I only collect personalized photos, so I was EXTREMELY pissed off to find that when I said "could you please make it out "to Dave"", the lovely Mr. Brooks looked up and said "Dave... I'm sorry but I have a plane to catch, and I can't personalize the photos"...

In the time it took for all of this he could have written "to Dave" about 10 times...

I love Avery Brooks, but man that pissed me off....
Not his fault, but the fault of the dumb-ass Vulcon folks who planned his appearance so poorly.
so if you see me at the Detroit show begging Avery Brooks to add "to Dave" to an already signed photo, that's why...

I'm kinda friends with the Detroit folks, but I'm having a hard time getting in touch with them to make sure they have a table for me. I'm hoping to track them down in NY.

...Let me add that I'd probably pass on Pitts...I mean "Awkward Con 2008".
