Ramona Fradon:

I wasn't familiar with Fradon until I read the Showcase: Presents Aquaman volume last summer.  Then I started seeing her fantastic pencil commissions popping up online and decided I had to have one!

Nice one, Joe. I've been contemplating getting one of her colored commissions.

Ladies and gentlemen.....FRED HEMBECK'S FOURTH WORLD!!!

This is one of my favorite pieces in my collection!  Fred has been doing these "across the page" pieces he calls them for sell on eBay where he does group shots of various teams or related characters.  I inquired about how much he would charge to commission such a piece and was surprised when he responded, "Gee....no one ever asked!"  So we settled on a price and I had Fred give me his version of my favorite 4th Worlders!

(Sigh)  As I'm reminded of the Hembeck piece I have in the queue and wonder where I currently am on The List...

Nice job overall - naturally.  I particularly like his take on Barda and Scott.

I can't believe I'm sharing my home with this beauty. And another one is still in the mail.

Joe, love that Fourth World Hembeck.

I really need to get a scanner. I received my Mister Miracle from Hembeck today. This is my first commission from him. Absolutely thrilled.
