Wilson, I don't have a scanner, sorry.
(I doubt that my digicamera will show it clearly- mayhap I'll attempt!)

He first did a rough marker sketch on tracing paper,
then traced over that with pencil on regular paper.
The tracing paper has yellowed considerably.
The pecilwork isn't clear here, but it's great.

Nice sketch. Who is it supposed to be? Looks like Reed Richards to me.

Lars, I'm talking a 2 minute doodle, not a sketch. Bill's full ink con sketches are around $100-$300 (last time I got one)., and look more like this:
Your's is very cool, by the way! To me, it's more along the lines of a free quick head sketch then a doodle...

Dave, that is an amazing piece.
Do you have a CAF gallery or website of your own?

Thanks Wilson! I also have a big Joker head sketch by Bill that's pretty wild.
I wish I had a CAF page! It's been on my list of things to do for years now. I just need to scan, scan, scan...
One day!

After seeing all the great cover recreations by Fred Hembeck, I put in a few requests of my own. I got these in these in the mail this week and I'm very pleased with the results:
