JB -- didn't your pricing model also include the lettering for (issue 1) of FX ?

Realy impressive. There's a nice fluidity to the inking too, almost carefree but without infering haphazardness. Each line serves a purpose but looks as though it was put down with feeling rather than maticulousness. The shadow play is also another strong suit that seems to have developed more-so in recent years.

Can't wait to see more.

FX ?"

If you don't mind, John, I'll answer this one. John paid for the lettering
himself. The price quoted to me didn't have the lettering factored into it.
Since John suggested we go all out old-school on the first issue and do the
lettering on the board, he kindly offered to pay for that additional expense
out of his pocket.

Superb! I really love this glimpse. I can't wait to read the story behind this sneak peak. What are you guys cooking? All kinds of intrigued.

It is superb !!

It's my honest hope that the success from this "FX" and from the pending STAR TREK projects - JB will embark on another venture into non-DC & Marvel comic book making.

I'd love to see more JB creations (like Next Men) - getting treatment from quality publishers like IDW.

Let's all hop that FX is just the first of many "independent" projects.

Looking great! Hopefully 2008 will compensate for the lack of JB comics during the current year.

Looking at that preview makes me wish JB would do something with Mike Mignola's B.R.P.D. characters.

I like the way JB handled Abe Sapien in the second Babe mini.

Oooo, this whole project makes me feel like a little kid again. And waiting for Christmas at that. :)

Also means my mind is kind of split as I don't want time to move ahead to fast (with regards to my dissertation work and what needs to be done) while simultaneously feeling almost unable to wait a minute longer for a full taste of this Byrne/Osborne concoction. Anybody knows how one can get it to be 2008 already without shifting from 2007? Temporal mechanics, anybody?

Anyways, thanks for the sneakpeek JB and Wayne!

Wayne,
would you be willing to allow the original pencils posted her at the forum?  and if so, JB would you be willing to post them?

It is always such a treat.
