Incidentally, working on this, I noticed Batman had the same problem as Spider-Man in his first issue. In the title banner on the cover (I left it off, bit Fred included it), his name is not hyphenated, while it is in the story inside.+++ Many reprint versions of the cover have included a hyphen, though. ••• Which impacts upon my point --- how?

The cityscapes on these commissions are amazing.•• On the Bat-Man piece, they're freehand, without under-drawing. Just the usual perspective grid as my guide.

That's what I was after -- tho it was a bit nerve-wracking, doing the long lines on the background towers freehand!
