Well this is the time I'm going to try thE question I've been wanting to ask JB for so long.
John, considering the apparent lack of interest in you (of course I don't know if anything is secretly cooking for you) shown by the American market in recent years and today, have you ever been tempted to do the Moebius trick and try the crossing on the Atlantic for a  project? I'm sure a lot of people in the States are aware of the European and French industry with more artistic freedom, better quality paper and printing and probably good money too. Would you be interested ?

I bought Long John Silver today. Great stuff, I loved the story and the art.

Here is a favorite page of mine:

Looks fabulous. Coloring is great, too. Same artist as did the drawings?

Yes, Mathieu Lauffray

Here is another exemple of great coloring from Long John Silver t.1 (the serie will be 4 tomes long):

Each tome is 58 pages long.

Nice. Beautiful harmonies, done with taste and restraint. Look at the play of
warms against cools, especially on the snow scene, bottom left panel. I
wonder if Bud Plant will pick these books up and offer them in the US?

Mathieu Lauffray... Whoah, long time I didn't heard his name. Many moons ago I was contacted to take over as artist on one of his first comics for Delcourt. Didn't go too far because I was considering to go more in the TV cartoon biz...

THose pages look very nice...
