Had to find space for the Funko Pop versions of Bob, Linda, Louise and Tina from BOB’S BURGERS.

No, not Gene. I really dislike that character.

Someone designed a COMMUNITY set for Lego Ideas. More than halfway there to getting the 10000 votes for Lego to consider it.

I've got to get this one.
Always loved the Star-Lord book by John Byrne.

Sure could have used that figure when drawing the character. It was a bear working out different angles on the helmet.

That’s Terry’s art, btw.

And Star Lord’s uniform is black.

I’d seen this figure earlier in the week. My one gripe was its blue colour.

Again with the whole blue/black failure.

I keep thinking that one day someone will figure it out.

But they never do.

Again with the whole blue/black failure.

-------

Hasbro seems perfectly aware of the blue/black issue, but they'll lean one way or the other so they can reuse the figure in the other color. The Marvel Universe 3.75" line was especially guilty of this, but even in Legends, they'll do things like reissue the black and silver Black Bolt from an SDCC set as a single, but in blue and metallic blue.

Never read any Star-Lord comics (never saw any at any of
the racks I frequented) but I always loved that design!

None. Actually lost interest in the character about 4 pages before the end. Look at those pages with that in mind, and you can pretty much tell.

(A number of people compared Chris' script for STAR-LORD to STAR WARS. When I read it, I asked him where the monkey was, which he took as a reference to Chewbacca. But actually I was thinking SPACE GHOST.)

Resigning myself to the reality of having nowhere to actually DISPLAY it, yesterday I demolished the Lego Coliseum and put all the pieces back in the box.

:-(
