All I’ve seen recently is $200 on eBay, and that’s too rich for me.

So, $100 each. How high have you gone for the others in the set?

So disappointed to read about Eaglemoss. I'd really been intending to get into their Doctor Who figurine collection again by ordering some of the recent companion sets from them. (As they had classic characters such as Nyssa, Tegan, Peri, Romana, Jamie etc)

That's what I get for not doing so sooner!

In all honesty Jason, I’m convinced this is a classic case of

a) expanding too far too fast

b) focussing too much on more expensive produce to the detriment of your
core line.

So we had loads of new lines, but they kept coming out @ the £50-60 price
point.

People just can’t keep up with that. £10 a ship/figure is one thing, but it was
becoming too regular that one ship cost four times as much as the smaller
scale lines.

I would have loved to get into the Battlestar & Expanse lines. I didn’t buy a
single one because I could not justify that cost to either me or my family.
Those were whole lines that I regularly would look @ to see what was being
released. Spent ages on the site. But didn’t buy a single one.

Bad business model.

I’m seeing the same with Hasbro & it’s Star Wars line @ the moment. The
black series figures are starting to push £30 & up to £50 each now - for a
line that was £20. By all accounts, the numbers being bought are not just
slowing, they hit a brick wall.

We can buy one of two expensive ticket items in a line, but not a whole line
@ that value (Hot Toys notwithstanding, although I have to admit to not
being able to figure out how they survive).

Yeah, if that's what they're charging for ships now, I can see how it's all went wrong.

Bill and I are Plodex buddies now.

Some fun new additions. I do like these Funko Soda figures a lot! And big Cap has been #1 on my list to find for a while.

Curious that the cut out on Cap’s mask has the right configuration on the box art, but not on the toy.

(I had to Google "Plodex". So long ago!)
