That's a great Kristopher Reaves Superman bust!
Shame it's not of Christopher Reeve, but it's nice that they give mediocre look-a-likes their due.
BTW, you can hire Kristopher Reaves for parties and Bar mitzvahs! Book early!

sigh...

Lynda Carter looks nice...

I really like the Lynda Carter/Wonder Woman bust, even if the face seems a bit thin.  Still, I think that one will be a definite addition to my collection.

EDIT:  I didn't even recognize that Superman bust as being a representation of Christopher Reeves; I was trying to place the somewhat odd looking Superboy and couldn't put my finger on it.

According to Kotobukiya's release schedule, the next Marvel Bishoujo Statue, Scarlet Witch, will be out in March 2010 (The link says February 2010, DiamondComics is listing it as a November 2009 release, while Amazon is saying April 2010):

It is already available from Japan, but you might want to wait for the U.S. release to save on price and shipping costs (also 20 or so days transit via SAL).

That statue is a bit too coquettish for Wanda, but I still like it.  I generally only buy Wonder Woman related merchandise, but I'm very tempted to pick this one up.

Kotobukiya has also previewed the upcoming Psylocke Marvel Bishoujo statue due in August 2010:

Doesn't leave much to the imagination, but she's going on my wishlist.

Bishoujo manages to do what the Adam Hughes drawings and sculpts so often pull off with great success -- making the characters voluptuous and erotic and yet somehow cute and not salacious. It's a fine line, and all too often (and deliberately it seems) crossed.

I have the Scarlet Witch on pre-order, and I will be thinking about that Psylocke, even tho I care not at all for the character as such.

Probably think about picking up that Lynda Carter WW bust, too, altho, as noted (and like the statue of a few years back) it misses her "baby fat" cheeks.
