What about sculpting the area around Eternity, forming him out of negative space? •• Eternity could be done as some kind of shadow-box, but that would sort of defeat the purpose of doing him three dimensionally. It could be viewed only from one direction to get the proper effect. 3D is the basic problem. Eternity should appear as a "hole in space" no matter what the vantage point of the viewer. Up, down, left, right, head on, etc, he would look like a hole. It's a problem similar to the one presented by the Neal Adams design for Havok. Those concentric rings that define his power level should appear head on to the viewer no matter what the angle of viewing. In 3D they get "conventionalized" as a sort of chest emblem -- and I did this myself with the Eaglemoss figure I customized.
