I overheard Chris Claremont chatting with a fan about some young female X-Men character....might have been Jubilee....Claremont said Jubilee's existence was necessary "since Kitty grew up." I thought that was strange. As if Kitty's aging was unavoidable. Who could possibly have done anything to prevent such a thing?

Kitty's still there, I just have to dig out my old comics.
Funny how both Marvel and DC took two girls that you created (Kitty and Cassie), as young teens not sex pots, and aged and morphed them both beyond what first appeared. Too bad, they were cool girls as they were.

Just received a new Superman figure based on Frank Quitely art. Unfortunately, instead of the emblem depicted in the advertisement, the figure comes with the generic "corporate" S printed on the chest of the figure. At least the correct version appears on the cape. Ah well/. 2.5 out of 4 stars.

Thanks JPB! This model came with a small flying sub and even a mini sub and diving bell, but I'll be on the look out for the larger version flying sub.

I had that Flying Sub kit as well - the plastic was yellow. It was a cracking kit.

Heh, I went into my local Hobbytown USA store this past weekend looking for the smaller version of that Seaview model... No dice on that, but they did have the large Flying Sub. That store also had the reissued 1/350 NCC-1701-A USS Enterprise model kit from Polar Lights too.

I liked the look of TV version of the Seaview over the Movie one (the twin bow windows versus the eight window one). I remember the old Aurora kit of the movie Seaview had a single clear plastic piece that had to be masked and painted to do the mult-observation windows properly.
