Just got my JLU Hal Jordan head in today...and WOW does it look nice! From paint apps, to sculpting and the material it is made of, it is stunning--virtually indistinguishable from one made in the factory. Kudos to 'Spy Magician' for his incredible work!

Oh, c'mon! Aren't you guys all BORED by my art collection by now?

******

No!  I'm thinking they ought to open up the John Byrne Museum after you've passed on.  The place looks cool from the pictures.  What do you think?  Call it the Byrnesoneum?  Byrne Unit?  I jest, but your house is a comic fans idea of a great walk-through.

As for those X-Men busts, they do look nice.

Hm....I think I'll have to see it in person to make a fair judgment.

Friend of mine, a director of theater, brought a writer/musician/producer
he's been working with 'round today with the latter's 15 year old son.
They're from the Czech Republic. Turns out the very first American comic
(in Czech) the lad bought was one of the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN issues I did
with Howard. Kid was slightly over the moon getting the tour.

Nice to be reminded, from time to time, that there are still places where I
bestride the universe like a god!

The Hal Head doe NOT work on the Jon Stewart body...

At least not without some work...

The heads are made out of a flesh colored "I-have-no-idea". Probably a
resin, but there are no bubbles. Seems like something else...

Ha! That's cool, Lloyd! The way it should have been! Instead, ya have to pay a guy $10 to give you a painted head...Worth every penny.

ooooh, everything's dark and spooooky in the forum....

Yeah Dave, this is what they should have done in the first place but that's water under the bridge now.

I'm glad Mattel made this set so customizer friendly---I've never bought or dabbled in customs before---but it looked so foolproof combined with Spy Magician's exquisite Hal head sculpt that I decided to take the plunge and finally mark Hal as GL in the purchased column of my JLU spreadsheet.

To top it off, my Shazam set is coming in tommorow, and the Doom Patrol isn't too far off: what a great time to be a JLU collector!
