I don't get it -- is Bowen making a poseable statue now?  Isn't that called an "action figure"?

Yep, just like the upcoming Mephisto, Randy is employing a sculptor who designs his sculpts using a 3-D imaging program. They are still working on the pose.

Wow! If nothing else, that website is a quick reminder of why we got rid of
the QUOTE function here in the JBF!

It seems I'm gonna be saving even more money on this go around than I did the last one, which is fine with me, more money for my commissions.

Ha! Mr. Byrne - I think about you EVERY day, when I'm on break at work & I'm trying to read my website on my cell phone! Imagine the horror of seeing a thread you really want to read, only to find that folks have quoted the same images 10x over on the same page. It makes me nuts, but whadda am I gonna do? They're just a bunch of happy quoters! Even Randy Bowen does it! Maybe I should have you be a Mod & straighten everyone out?

I hope that thread hasn't turned you off to the site, check out these two guys' collections in our Gallery of Bowen Collections...

...hopefully, by realizing that cool stuff like this actually exists on the board, you'll forgive my naughty lil' picture quoters & visit us more? Believe me, I need someone like you backing me up when I'm trying to defend the 60s,70s, and 80s Marvel eras! :)

Al,

Awesome!  You know what it is that makes the display/layout of your collection so attractive?  Besides the collectables themselves.  It's your use of "white space" (i.e., lack of congestion and crowding) of your stuff.

Ha! I WISH they were my collections! They belong to two of the guys on the board. There's a lot more. All of the members have a thread for their displays.

:)
