...not to beat a dead horse or anything, but I'm a tad late to this weeny roast. I have to defend John Buscema (the Other JB!) He drew Belit full-breasted and not in an artificial way.
The statues are based on the artwork for this issue. I believe that Zula was already solicited as well.
Also, the pic of the statue (from the last page) is taken from a certain angle that implies the breasts are growing from her collar bone, but that may just be the angle of the shot. Without seeing a full turn-around of the statue, I reserve judgment, By Crom!

The problem, Lars, is that the sculptor has interpreted the line Buscema drew to show the gentle, living curve of the underside of the breast as the hard, dead curve of the false cleavage of implants.Breasts move. Implants don't.

JB: Okay, I'll think about it.
Think, think, think.
Yup, the sculpt still sucks.
That's cool. You are DEFINITELY entitled to your opinion & if anyone has earned it, that'd be you. Let me ask you this...do you like the Conan that Seth sculpted? Personally, I think that's the best 3-D representation of Conan to date.

John Farnham: So, Jesse, you're saying if the piece was almost completely redone....LOL

No, no, no ... just everything from the neck down and waist up.
I'm really trying to say that with a straight face.
