JB : Randy and I have discussed Cap's chainmail several times. It is, of course, open to interpretation. I lean lately to the under-the-shirt version.
John - Do you know of any instances where the chainmail was actually shown?

Isn't the current Captain America wearing over-the-shirt scale-mail?

Busts kind of creep me out. It looks like the remnants of a body after hyenas have had at it.

Really, really, really dislike those armless busts! And that's one I would have
bought otherwise, dammit!

That bust of Cap looks like he should talk like a Muppet-- "It is I, Sam, the American Eagle..."

I got this little 3-inch guy today. The color scheme of this photo from online is off, as it is the original Question coloring, the light blue suit, orange shirt and yellow tie. It's not great by any means, and it was 6 bucks from Walmart, but still nice to have the actual DITKO version (well, the hat is a little too pimp, as I wish he was wearing the stingy brim circa 1964...but ehh)

I HOPE you mean the Iron Man! That bust of Cap is a perfect example of everything that I feel is wrong with how artists are drawing Cap today!

EXACTLY! They're trying to make Cap look like an eagle or something these days. Sigh...
