Abomination has been a very poorly handled character.  Very cool concept...looks mighty cool but nobody has ever done anything good with him.  And now he's dead.

The Abomination looks too goofy to be depicted in a movie. The statue above proves it!

That Abomination piece really makes me wish I gave a hoot about the
character!

That really surprises me. Years ago, when you took over The Incredible Hulk from Bill Mantlo & Sal Buscema, my biggest anticipation was to see you do a Hulk vs. Abomination story. I was so disappointed when you left in mid-story & that never happenned. After pencilling the best Hulk annual EVER, I was thrilled that you'd bring your talents to the Hulk's regular series & raise his villains, like The Abomination & The Leader to their deserved heights in the Marvel Mythos. Oh well....

I will say that Sal Buscema will always be my favorite Hulk artist, but you sir, would probably have been pretty closed had you continued. At least, I still get to enjoy viewing your commissioned pieces (except when you do the modern/Moe hair cut Hulk). When you draw the "70s", shaggy haired Hulk, you're right up there with the best...Sal & John Buscema, John Romita Sr., (old-style) Michael Golden, etc... Honestly, as a kid & even now, I LOVE your Hulk from that Annual! :)

It is very cool, can't wait to receive it.

I'm tempted by the Superman #1 Cover to Cover Statue; do you have that one? What do you think?

If I'm not mistaken, I think that standing Superman was sculpted by John Cleary.
