Pockets???
Would make more sense if they were padding, like NFL players wear, on her hips to protect from bruising, etc during a battle.

It makes about as much sense to me as Storm and Cyclops carrying pulse rifles.
Cyclop's 90's custom had more pockets than Batman's utility belt, and I don't think I ever ONCE saw him take anything out of them. The Legion with through this phase too, which is why I gave up reading a lot of titles during that era.

To be fair, the Legion actually used their pockets. Omnicoms, transsuits,
telepathic earplugs... the Legion enjoys their gadgets.
