Speaking as the co-creator of the character, and the first one to draw her in
that corset, the character I designed was in no danger of such slippage.
That was kinda my point.

I don't recall her ever turning to diamond when she was created, either...

I thought Barda's head gear was her hair NOT a helmet ?

That's the way I undertand it.

If you look at what Kirby drew, it is clear that her hair becomes the
helmet. Barda is essentially running around naked, her body transformed
into armor.

Thanks guys .. I appreciate the nice comments.
Right now, I'm working on my Black Cat Kitm which I hope to post pictures of by this weekend ... and hopefully by Friday, I'll get Alan Scott, Shadow Lass and Arkillo kits in to start work on them.
And next week ... SPIDER-WOMAN!!

You and me both. Once my caster makes his move down to Florida, we're going to try casting the base for Alan and the greens in clear green resin.
I think I'm going to put the pressure on Jim to sculpt me a Granny Goodness after he finishes my Orion.

The JLU Green Lanterns will be sold at SDCC and on MattyCollector.com after the Con. The JLU Black Adam will be part of a Captain Marvel set sold on MattyCollector.com. However, sales on the first JLU exclusive 4-pack on MattyCollector.com still haven't hit their target, so whether they produce the Captain Marvel set is still up in the air.
