I own the original Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) version of the Thing. Weirdly articulated, I know, but if you pose it correctly it looks OK. And I do like the face, which seems pretty Sal Buscema-ish.

Which seems sort of odd, with one of my comics packaged with it!
Anyway -- it seems that so many Thing pieces, this one included, fail to
capture the mass of the character. The sculptors seem to get hung up
on there being a human being "inside" the Thing, and slim him down too
much.
Except when they go entirely in the other direction way too far!!!
