I haven't seen many decent let alone "good" Thing action figures although my son LOVES the Mighty Muggs one.

But it's a statue, not an action figure.

Do you class action figures not as statues then?

Action figures may be statues, but statues are not action figures. To qualify
as an action figure, there must be articulation. The figures must be
movable, posable.

Never seen a good one. Be interesting to see what others think.
(Interesting… and I suspect depressing on some levels!)

Sadly, I fear that you're right. Thisis the closest (not best) I have found
to the correct shape.

Not an action figure but still a nice bust of the Thing.

I sense another "graphic novel" debate brewing!

…a nice bust of the Thing.
••
Bit too much neck, but otherwise a nice representation of the comicbook
version of the Thing. Not my favorite brow, but can't have everything!
My personal fave is this one…
…sculpted by the guys who did the appliances for the recent movies. Has a
nice "what he'd really look like" feel, without losing the familiar elements.
