Has anyone bought the new Hasbro Marvel figures yet? My local comic shop had them but they were £8.99 which I thought was way too much. Makes tham more expensive than Star Wars figures and that's going some.

Yeah those new Marvel figures seem quite pricey for their size. I saw them at Toys R Us for $8 and I thought that is the same price as the Marvel Legends figures. Seems like the smaller size should have a smaller price.

David,
Send me an email at ryanpmaxwell at yahoo dot com. I can set you up with a Dr. Doom. Sue too, if you want her, she was in the same pack.

I waited for years for Marvel to make these figures, but the price point (roughly nine bucks 'round these parts) and the figures themselves leave me feeling...meh. Hopefully the line will improve as they produce more characters. For now, for me - nope. I'll pass.
