This ship design is also triggering a memory.  I instantly recognize it from my childhood, but can't place it.  I know I built a model of it from scratch and out of wood in a summer shop class, but where does it originate?

The Eagle has long been one of my all time favourite SF ship designs.

I want one of those. Dang money.

What's your threshold, Al? There's a very nice 10" diecast Eagle available,
plus a 28" version for under $400.
