Thought some of you might be interested in these. Martin Bower, the guy
from whom I am buying the 41 inch Fireball XL5 model sent along
these pictures of a trio of Eagles he's custom built for a collector. (Not me!)
They're 44 inches long.
That shot of his hand holding the cockpit of one of the Eagles is triggering
some kind of sense memory in my head. I can recall holding some model or
toy or whatnot, probably when I was a kid, and it "felt" just like that. Can't
remember what it was, tho!

This ship design is also triggering a memory. I instantly recognize it from my childhood, but can't place it. I know I built a model of it from scratch and out of wood in a summer shop class, but where does it originate?

What's your threshold, Al? There's a very nice 10" diecast Eagle available,
plus a 28" version for under $400.
