Didn't notice the heels -- but they fret me not. I like high heels! (They
make my legs look longer.)

I'm still a fan of the Mego line and every once in a while the mego museum board comes up with a pretty awesome custom.  I thought the Iron Man I posted a while back was worth praising but male figures are by far done more and done better than female figures.  This MJ is pretty darned cool though.  I would have liked a better paint job on the face but the sculpt looks really solid and the costume is good too.  With all the Romita fans around here, it seems like a good thing to share.

At last my absolute favorite of all of Jack Kirby's incredible creations is finished!

I can't wait to paint her.

Nice!

Incidentally -- that sculpt, and how he drew Barda, should serve as a lesson
to all artists who wonder what Kirby "meant" by how he drew the chainmail
on Captain America's uniform. When he wanted "scales" he drew "scales"!

To Anthony Frail regarding the Hulk figures...

Looking at the first pic you took that included the leader, I think it must be the lighting. The open-mouthed version is the one I have and the color scheme looks just as different--as in a lighter shade of green.

I think I'm being too picky. The Hulk figure that I have is heads and shoulders above any Hulk I've ever had to date.

Jesse Garcia: Big Barda looks great! Forgive my ignorance, are you a
professional sculptor?
