3/4 busts are a very ancient tradition.

3/4 busts with their arms intact look fine to me, but when the arms are left off I find them creepy.  If the sculpt is going to be sans arms, it should stop at the shoulders!

The cookie jars all have their arms.

Am I missing something here?

Just a general observation, not aimed at your fine cookie jar collection.

Yeah, I never really had a problem with cutoff points either. I was just curious what people thought about that issue in general. I had seen someone mention that recently.

I have a fun question-- what's the figure you're dying for them to make but
they haven't and who knows if they ever will?

I desperately wish they'd do a Hulk and Thor in Kirby's art style and a "First
Appearance" Spider-Man in Ditko's. A Romita SR Spidey would be cool as
well.

Also, a real Byrne Superman would be killer.

Anthony, you should show me pics of sculpts you would like to see. I am an amateur sculptor and I might give it a shot if it catches my fancy. I am always looking for cool ideas.

****

Isn't there a Marvel Legends Hulk figure based on how he looked in the first issue?  And I know there's a Marvel Legends Spider-Man based on his first appearance.

Yep, here they are!  There's a green version of the Hulk that looks better I think:

That's a pretty good Kirbyesque face on that Hulk, but the body is oddly
disproportionate.

I have this grey Hulk! The articulations make for a lot of posing
possibilities. I quite like it!

That Sideshow Collectibles Black Queen comiquette is kind of hard to figure. Based on the face, they definitely weren't going for JB's version and she doesn't really look like any incarnation of the Black Queen that I can recognize. She actually looks quite a bit like the actress Polly Walker from the HBO show Rome.
