Lars,
Thank you very much for that pic! It's very helpful. And yes, Clint... MORE addictive than crack!

I bought one of the early JLU series John Stewart figures. It kept folding over at the ankle. It wasn't strong enough to hold itself up.

Lars,
Have you seen the prices some of those out-of-production JLU three-packs are going for!?? HOLY MOLEY!

Marc I agree, the animated style figures ARE addictive,
that's the main problem with the after-market pricing.
Low supply versus high demand really sucks when you're the one
who can't get the toys at retail. :)
Even with the problem of weak plastic, like Craig mentions,
they're still sought after. At least I know I'm not alone.
I can't speak for anyone else, but the animated style is what appeals to me. I'd be happy to buy them all if
only I could get my hands on them.
PS, I believe Garett Stehle has an up-to-date collection. (Hi Garett!)

I'd happily give up the DC figurines that still aren't available in the US and collect these, but I'm not a huge fan of a lot of the characters, and the 3 packs are a turn off because I don't want a Batman/Superman/Flash/etc with every purchase.

Yeah Marc the figures are very addictive. I blame Bruce Timm for making such a good cartoon (it somehow feels nice to have a constant reminder of the show) {I'm sure not being able to get all the Super Powers toys that I wanted as a wee lad factors in there somewhere as well..)
Hey Lars, I am not completely up to date, I still need the Apolkolips six pack
I just can not justify the $40 plus shipping. I'm sure that I will break soon though...
I hear what you are saying Ryan, That's why it's cool that they seem to moving away from the 'at least one of the original 7' in the upcoming waves.

I know what you mean Ryan, the doubles are a bit of a drag,
but too many is better than not enough I figure. :)
Aztec and Blue Devil aren't favourites of mine for example,
however I do like them as 3D little action figures.
I can't explain it (addiction), I suppose the design just speaks to me!

Garett the next scheduled 6-pack is gonna be great!
Batman plus 5 'new-sculpted' villains.
My head WILL explode.

Definitely going to have to come up with a separate
display for them! They're taking over!
I know what you mean JB. Being a graphic designer, I really like the
packaging on these, so I keep them in the box. Also helps when displaying
them. With the addition of Torch, Surfer and Galactus (lucked out at Target
one morning) the wall grows.

Dang! Haven't seen the Lando Mugg before, he's awfully chipper but in a good way. So many there calling me to break down and buy them...
