I have a life mask of Lincoln. A few years back, I bought Paul Kupperberg
one of Jerry Lewis for his birthday.

I thought about picking up a President or 2 but had no place to display them without looking out of place. Where do you have yours displayed Mr. Byrne? Maybe it'll give me an idea.
Dave.

Mr. Lincoln is in my dining room.
I also picked up this cast of his hand.

forgive me if this sounds stupid --- but is the "life mask" a casting of his face after death or (as the name suggests) while alive?

Though it sounds insensitive, I believe a cast of his head after his death would look somewhat different, Cliff.

A life mask is cast from a living subject, a death mask from a dead one.
Hence the terms!

Looks like it fits well with your decor Mr.Byrne, nice added piece with the hand. Any visitors react in a strange way when they encounter Mr. Lincoln?

To get to Abe they have to pass the giant robots and "lifesized" Betty Boop,
so they're usually relieved to find something they can identify with!

Apparently, villains (or one villain anyway) are being added to the Batman
Black and White series.
Can't say I'm crazy about the sculpt. For the first outing, I would have
preferred a more classic Jerry Robinson-esque Joker.
