Bigger than I expected -- standing straight he'd be almost 18 inches tall.
And, yes, BLUE.

Thanks, Gerry!
I was away from my home PC and photobucket was all I had access to when I posted...
Randy has posted that there will be a matte finish version, as well.

What does everyone think of painted shading on sculptures, such as the Spirit sculpt above? Do you like it or no?
Also, does anyone here have any dream sculpts? I am a scultpor and I am looking for some inspiration.
I can't guarantee I will make a sculpt of your idea but I might be inpired by it or some other sculptor around might decide to do it.

••
I depends on the statue. Sometimes the limitations of size and surface
textures call for a little something extra. The Spirit, for instance -- it would
be impossible to duplicate the weave of real cloth at that scale, and even if
such a thing could be done, the shadows cast would not look like the real
thing. So a little judiciously applied paint can help.
When we get into cross-hatching and the like, I think the line is crossed,
tho.

<Th next wave is out! Picked up Human Torch. Saw Galactus and Silver Surfer at a Toy Show, but didn't want to pay extra.
They all look great!>
Dave Aikins: I'm at home at the moment and can add the big G. and the Surfer and a few others, I took Thurs, Fri off from work, so I should be sending out your box sometime Mon/Tues. with the Foom guy. I may add a mystery item to it as well, I'll send you an email Mon. when I get to work. Dave.

Geez Dave, lot's of thanks there......
I went back and took a refresher look at your collection pix.
Yikes!
Love the life masks. I have one of middle-aged Shatner (given as a gift). I
do have to say that when you only have one on display, it's a bit creepy...

it started with one life mask and the next thing I knew I was out of control, my personal favorite is the Hitchcock, think it works well displayed over the movie collection. At least the wife knows where I am when not at work.
Dave.
