A quick Google, and I'd say he takes much more from Alan Davis than from
me!

Paul was more of the JB school when he first started but he is more of the Alan Davis school now with his own style mixed in. I think Paul is doing great work!

Pelletier's one of my fav's as well.  He was certainly inspired by JB but has really taken his art to a nice place of it's own.  I'm sad that his stay on the current Nova was so brief.  As far as Nova's current look, I'm very willing to look past it since there's actually a reason for it to look like that, they got rid of the Nova Corps(for now, anyway) and the book hasn't been cancelled.  If the masses prefer the new look and will keep supporting the book then I'm not going to complain about the modernized uniform.  While I always saw the obvious inspiration from the Green Lantern corps, it really didn't work as the Nova Corps.  Maybe because it was the "Nova" Corps.  I always thought that that was a name thar Rich Rider would come up with for himself but not what an advanced alien species would name it's inter-galactic security squadron or what their power was called.  How did they get from the Worldmind collective to Nova?  Okay, thread drift.  Pelletier's a good artist that needs more props.

well -- here's a Nova with Captain Marvel's legs....

it actually isn't.  if you look at the statues side by side it's clear Mar-Vell's legs are turned outward more than Nova's.  There's also differences in the musculature through the thighs.  not the same legs.

While I like the statue and love the character --- I question why Falcon, in this costume (with wings) - is posed standing and not in action mode / flying...?

That Sgt. Rock looks neat although that Thompson is a little small for the scale of the figure.

Patrick, I think the falcon was represented in a similar stance in the corner box of Captain America and the Falcon. It's a rather historic pose for the character...
This is the second outfit, right?
