That's niiiiiiiiiice.

Didn't go anywhere, why?  Did DC not like it?  Did DC not think Byrne was a "known" Batman artist ?    Crazy.    That design looks inspired.

Yeah - looking at it -- I LOVE the way the cape flows off the base -- becoming part of the reality beyond the sculpture --- SHIT --- I love it !!!!!

Since it's going nowhere with DC would it be inappropriate for a fan to find a sculptor and commission that piece?

Recapturing Childhood Day.  I don't buy toys off store shelves for myself too often, but I had to grab this.  I compared it to the 3 pack I've had for a while that came from the same GI Joe issue and this new fig is light years ahead of the older Snake Eyes.

I did a turnaround, mostly to see if it worked under the cape.

Paging Randy Bowen !!!
Paging Jim Maddox !!!
Paging (insert name here if you're a sculptor registered at JBF) !!!

I would very much enjoy owning a Batman statue like this.  I have the Perez and Neal Adams B/W -- this would be great to add.

JB, I would buy that statue in a heartbeat!
Excellent design. LOVE the cape idea.

I do not own any of the B&W Batman statues but yours would be one that I would purchase sight unseen. Even Moreso now that I HAVE seen the design layout.
