Had one of those Mc Farlane Conan models quite a while with a giant gorilla type monster.

Has Marvel changed DD's origin or is it still the truck, old man, radioactive
isotope story?

••

Frank added a whole lot of stuff, downplaying the "radiation origin". In his
version -- still canon? -- most of DD's "stuff" comes from a kind of Zen
training

**

It's still canon. The only change was the backstory of the old man he saved.

didn't Miller had DD look "-- into the heart of a man made sun..."

So, was it bright irradiated light or radioactive sludge (as in the statue) that blinded Matt Murdock?

Gerry that Conan fron Hard Hero is a great Buscema likeness!
That pose is from a Conan issue but without hitting the longbox, I'm not sure of the number. High 60's?
Conan Belit and Zula standing together swords at the ready.
Great pic.

I recognized the pose immediately, just couldn't recall the issue number. Must be slippin'.

Looking through boxes searching for my customized figures to add to the other thread I came across this SPACE GHOST figure. One of my favourites. Great likeness and the head is ball-jointed for maximum posability.
He came with all kinds of accessories but I didn't bother digging Them out.

…the head is ball-jointed for maximum posability…

••

One thing I have noticed over the years, it takes only the slightest turn of
the head to give a real sense of life to a figure.
