Reminds me of the Bodyworlds exhibit that was shown at the museum I
work at. It will be returning in a couple of months.

I have a question for JB or anyone else who knows anything on correcting
figures you've bought with paint. I just got this Crisis Batman, as it
seemed like my best bet for getting a Batman like the 70's/80's Batman-
-

But I want the face to look like the promo pic of Batman...

I'm just scared I'll mess up the figure if I try and paint the front of the
cowl black.

Any suggestions?

Never cared for "The Batman" animated show but the figures were not to bad, except for the out of proportion Robin.

This sounds like a question for the All-New customized action figure thread - coming soon! :)

Anthony, personally I would use a pencil to outline where you want the black to be on the mask FIRST, then paint.

John Lee,
I'm a little jealous man. Those figures have not crossed the border at all.
I have Batman Batgirl and the horribly out of scale Robin, but none of the Justice League.
They look good together, nice display.

Jodi and John, thanks!

JB, that skeleton thing is more than a little creepy.
-and you've got the thing sittin' on your desk! Sheesh.

Anthony, have you considered using a felt tip pen rather than paint?

Ray, is that any good? I'd suspect the marker would fade or something, no? I have used a sharpie to re-blacken hair that's been scratched off of a Superman and Captain Marvel figure, but never have tried to color in an area as large as this with a sharpie.

For painting, what kind of paint is best? Would I need to prime the area i'm painting?

••

Once you've held a real human head in your hands -- not a skull, a head --
it takes considerably more than a plaster model to rank as "creepy".
