Would someone go out and buy a new toy of some kind already!!!!! It's been 4 days now since I've been able to be envious or jealous of anyone's purchases.

Hold on, Mike! I ordered a bunch of the Mighty Muggs, and Amazon says
they have shipped.

I need to ignore the Muggs in this thread.  With the Bowen busts, figurines, Super Hero Squad and Minimate figures surrounding me, the last thing I need is another line to colle...nice Cap and Thor!

I got this a few weeks ago, but I haven't found a place to display it (or
figured out how to install it in my car.)

Doctor Octopus looks like a worthy investment if I spot him on a retail shelf.

Love the Muggs!!!!!!!!!!!
I have all of the second series (from DCBS) and Iron Man from the first. Can't wait for Thor!!
The only problem with ordering them that I can see from mine is the occasional paint apps mess-up. Not terrible, but they're so graphic and clean that any goof is really noticable...

I have both sets of Muggs. I lucked out at Walmart a few weeks ago and they had all of set Two.

I still can't bring myself to open them...

I don't know how many GI Joe fans there are here but here's a pic of the 1985 Cobra Viper (How I never opened him as a kid is beyond me) and it's new 2008 counterpart. I remember being a Joe fan back in the day and saw the JB cover of GI JOE issue #35 and #51 , it was great for a fan like me.

It wasn't the seller's fault. He'd packed the statue in tonnes of bubble wrap. It must have shifted in transit.

I've been told by statue sculptors that bubble wrap is exactly what NOT to pack in --- wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in Newspaper -- the crumpled up paper is a better buffer.

So I'm told.

All I need now is some plutonium. I checked all the corner drug stores, but
the only things I got were funny looks.
