FINALLY! After what seems like half a lifetime, one of the several
companies from which I tried ordering it came thru with the 1/18th scale
Hot Wheels version of the George Barris Batmobile from the old TV show.
Funny thing about this, at 11 inches in length, it is allegedly the same
size as the "huge" tin toy of the Lincoln Futura, the car Barris turned
into the Batmobile, that I had when I was a kid. I know stuff shrinks as
we get older, but. . . !!!!
Anyway, this goes with the previous Hot Wheels releases. . .

I'll always have mixed feelings about the TV show -- but that Batmobile... pure love!

The coolest thing about it was seeing the car I had long called "my
Batmobile" turn up as. . . the Batmobile!
(The uncoolest thing was learning, decades later, that Barris actually
cannibalized the only existing Futura to make the bat car, so the original I
loved so much as a kid no longer exists.)

Definitely! I know you have this bust among your collection, were you happy with the way Terrax was sculpted?

Two of the most terrifying villains ever. Who would ever want to run into them in real life?
