I'm very interested in the Devil Dinosaur statue.

I look forward to seeing the New Gods figures tomorrow.

Apparently some wargamers don't want to paint and assemble minis any more.

They are about an inch and a half tall, and were packaged like toys instead of gaming miniatures in brightly colored boxes with transparent fronts so you could see the little gorilla guys inside.

They were WAY overpriced ($30 a box?! They are made of soft plastic! ) but I thought they were pretty neat looking. The pics are from a site that sells them. These pics look a bit better than the real thing BTW (in terms of the paint job).

Anyway sci-fi gorllas are nearly a tradition around here so enjoy!

Oh, and Vootie!

I talked a friend into making a casting of the Guardian bust and resculpting the head so it's more accurate than Bowen got it.

And the original.  I'm not sure what could be done to save the lower half of the face without a complete resculpt.

I actually dislike the metal look -- I always imagined Guardian as wear cloth (like the flag) over his metal-mesh-circuit suit.   Infact -- isn't the "cloth" burning off Guardian in the death issue (AF #12) ?
