I like Super7, but the cost of these very basic figures seems pretty high. Even the GI Joes, with higher production and spots at retail, aren’t any cheaper.  Licensing fees must be a bear.

I've been a fan of MEZCO TOYZ for some time... and I'm really interested in the Wolverine (Deluxe) Steel Box Edition... looks amazing and comes with a lot of accessories...

What really caught my eye is the series of head sculpts, including his first appearance mask!

Currently shopping around for the most reasonable price.

I've had a few Mezco figures, and have found the 'pleather' covering they use on parts of the fabric costumes is easily prone to flaking after a while, which creates noticeable and unsightly gaps which show the material underneath.

Not as much of an issue with some figures (the DKR Mutant Leader, or Dredd for example, where a rougher/weathered look at least fits with the character to a degree) - and the less a figure is posed and re-posed, the better.

Looks like Wolverine only has that type of fabric on his trunks - might be something to bear in mind though before committing.

I've recently moved on to Mafex over Mezco - aside from wired fabric capes, the costumes are all part of the mould, and I don't find that detracts ; appreciated though that it's down to personal choice ! :-)

A few shots of Mafex's Wolverine - different proposition to the Mezco, I appreciate ...

I understand artistic licence, but one of the things I have noticed in a lot of
depictions of Wolverine is a complete lack of understanding that those
claws need to fit inside his forearms.
Pretty basic really.

The Ghost from Rebels has gone live. I’ve ordered one. It’s due around
December 2024, so I expect it around February 2025 based in what
happened with the Razor Crest.
As with the Crest, I’ll do an unboxing video.
Rereading those dates, man alive, toy collecting has become an exercise in
wishing your life away.

Today commenced construction of the LEGO version of the ‘89 Batmobile.

First annoyance: all the parts are in Bag 1——oh, except these four, which are in these two unnumbered bags. Why does LEGO do that?!
