Wayne, [l]et us (or at least me) know if there is anything we can do to promote and get visibility on your book. --- Ditto for me, Wayne. Oh, and if you ever want to use a JBF member as a character in your book... *ahem*

Just an update in case some of you missed it. FX will be a six issue limited
series. John has the plot to number two and he'll be starting it as soon as he
finishes the commissions and other comics work remaining on his plate.
Once he starts, he will finish the remaining five issues for me. (Yay!) I will
sign with a publisher soon - probably next week. Once I do that I will
announce the company I'm going with. And, yes, FX will be in color. Greg
Cordier is working on the first issue as we "speak".

Great news. Just to support this home grown project I may have to go all out "Image" with my purchases and get multiple copies. :) Can't help but root for the home team!!

This is good news. Looking forward to seeing it.
Wayne, sorry to ask a bean counter question but, are you going to make money on this or is the exercise about making a dream come true?
My feeling is that JB still has as strong enough following to make the book turn in a profit, provided it's from a publisher that actually gets ordered from a comic book store.
Which brings up another question: how much input did JB have in hooking you up with a publisher?

I'm going to buy several copies of #1 so that I can give some away. Hopefully, I can "trigger" some readers who will go out and buy the next five issues themselves.

Nice to hear that things are progressing... and that we'll now get six issues for sure. Hope you'll get a good deal Wayne.

6 issues ?, I will wait for the trade... (kidding). Looking forward to this, I will be sure to order it and make sure my LCS gets some extra copies, the store owner usually listens to me when I make a recommendation like that.
