You can't tell if that's inked?

MTU #79 is easily one of my all-time favourite comics! What can be better than Spider-Man and Red Sonja being drawn by John Byrne?? The story is excellent as well!

The story is excellent as well! •• The story is barely there, but given the restrictions under which we labored, I guess it gets the job done. Incidentally, that story began its life as a Spider-Man/CONAN team-up. It just turned out to be far less hassle to use Sonja.

Terrific JB. Love all the detail on the sword and the detached head. Also, I love redheads. Go Red Sonja!

I still think it was a good story - - especially when you consider it's an unlikely team-up.

What a great idea and what a great commission. Blown away.
I predict a surge in Red Sonja commission requests.

IMO MJ turning into Sonja was a novel idea.
I've said it before and I recall you mentioning it was strictly out of the question at the time but a MJ/Sonja book could have been a great fun.

JB,
how would you have drawn different if the commissioner asked for RED SONYA?
