Chad, that Daredevil pic is pretty far removed from reality. To follow the
punch line indicated, DD would have had to have started almost with his
back to Bullseye, then swung his fist around backhand. The blow wouldn't
have had much force (unless DD were Superman), and if Bullseye fell at all, it
would be in the other direction. Unless, of course, time is bifurcated and
we're seeing DD before the swing and the swing & contact lines and DD
afterwards.

Digging the Ka-Zar, doling out the beatings courtesy of Kirby, Kane, and John Buscema.

Mike Sekowsky (I think?):
Love Hourman of the Golden Age. Why somebody doesn't turn him into his own series is beyond me.

Chad, those Hourman panels are pure Murphy Anderson, pencils and inks. From Showcase #56.

Aha. My JLA 200 just came in the mail. After seeing that Kubert page a few pages back on this thread, I had to get a copy.

Len Wein, man. On one hand, he (co-)creates Swamp Thing. On the other, he creates...Stegron the Dinosaur Man.•• Len did the Stegron story to voice his disagreement with the "warm blooded" theories which were quite new then in dinosaur lore. I don't know if he still disagrees with the concept. (For the record, I embrace the idea. It answers a whole lot of questions for me.)

Chad,
Thanks for posting the Kirby pages!
The panels from that Hourman story (actually, a Dr. FAte/Hourman team-up) are by Murphy Anderson, by the way.

ROM bombs. It pleases me to no end to see X-Men on the receiving end. This would never happen to Wolverine today.
