I love how Kalibak is motivating himself in the mirror.

JB: Got a weird vibe off this one -- that I kinda like! -- that I
was channeling Bruce Timm -- but inked by Frank
Springer!
Frank Springer. Wow, that's a name I haven't heard in a long while.

That is one sweet Orion too. Maybe one of the best post-Kirby Orions I've seen. Well done, sir.

Nice work, JB! I know that you have some great influences, but all I see here is John Byrne! (Well, there is that pure Power of Kirby feel...) I like the fact that you included the Black Racer as well. I think that I may be one of only a small number of people who doesn't think the character looks dumb.

Awesome.
Sacriligiously, JB's Death Racer looks cooler than Kirby's.
Time for me to go whup myself for saying that.

Nice work, JB. I like the way you inked the piece.
Have you ever thought about changing the Black Racer's costume, maybe removing the skis?

Have you ever thought about changing the Black Racer's costume, maybe removing the skis?•• Nevaire!! The Racer is one of those "bull by the horns" characters. Either accept him as he is, and use him as he is, or don't use him at all!
