Golden has just posted (via Renee) on TCJ boards that Gerry (and the rest of us) will not be getting a refund or a re-done piece of art:

or that he would like it when he did. Basically the same thinking and
intentions are applicable to the work done for his compatriots. And,

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that Mr. Golden. Your "point" is taken.

And I hope it has been made clear to anyone else inclined to impose upon your "professionalism".

I don't get it. The facts -the image posted by Gerry - suggest a lack of professionalism. The prevarication and apparently outright lies presented bolster that claim, but the picture itself is enough.
I haven't read the counter-argument on the TCJ - board, but unless Golden can show  a good, professional reason why he chose to draw the commission that way, the "point" he's made is that he's unprofessional.  Somehow I don't think that's what he meant.

There's so much wrong with the whole mess. Saying that the work was "discounted" - as if somehow that means it doesn't have to meet professional standards.  Saying that Gerry and the others tried to jump ahead in line after 10 months when we have other posters here saying they got their commissons from Golden within a month. Gah.

... that doesn't even take into account the multiple holes that logic leaves in her story, most blatantly the fact that she states that Golden was approached by these 4 at a con and given a discount..... dispite the fact that they placed orders individually at different cons over a period of a few months. Even if I didn't have some idea of Gerry's character from these boards, the few points of obvious misinformation in her story and the contradictions betweens hers and Golden's accounting leaves little doubt that the tale isn't how she is depicting it.
