Just to add, because I couldn't work out how to put text and picture together.

Mr Golden is being a childish ass, and JB an all round good guy.

And to apologise for the quality of a 5 minute rebuttal sketch.

Just to add my voice to the displeasure at Golden's actions.

And bravo to JB.  There should be more acts like that in the World, not just the comic community.

Turns out there is a happy confluence in all this. A few pieces down the commissions queue is a Dr. Strange montage that I've been having trouble figuring out just how to execute when I get to it. It's that dang cape, you see. Takes up so much space. Fine when the Doctor is in action, or standing at the back, but when you need to see a bunch of stuff around him -- well, thinking about it was just making my head hurt. The only answer I could come up with was to make the piece about 20% wider than usual -- but that would mean charging more for it, which didn't seem fair to the customer.

Well, Jim Warden has contacted me about it. Guess who that customer is? So -- solution, Gerry gets his Extra Wide Dr. Strange commission at no Extra charge.

John, I've zinged you in the past to the point that I got bitchslapped. Fair enough.

But what you are doing for Gerry is sooooo impressive to me that I wish I had an emoticon displaying someone on their knees bowing repeatedly.

Very nice, very classy, very professional, VERY OLD SCHOOL!!!

My compliments, Sir!

I guess this is why you don't see Michael Golden doing much professional work anymore.  He's just not professional.

JB, I just have to add, I was called in to work, giving up my three day weekend of Sat., Sun., and Mon., to cover the EMS Chiefs' position for 12 hours each day. No choice, I was the only one available not already on duty (sometimes the bear gets you). I was miserable. I understood, but emotionally I was less than pleasant.

Your gesture toward Gerry made me feel so good that the next three days will be OK. I, and I'm sure my crew, thank you for providing that 'good medicine' for my bad mood!
