It's certainly not my favorite story, but when I think of Doom I for some
reason think of the panel from the 1st secret wars where he is essentially
being dissected by the beyonder but is still reaching forward, never
surrendering, trying to gain more power. That always seemed like a very
"Doom" moment to me.

I choose the cover to FF # 247.  It displays everything you need to understand Doom's character.  And what he means within the Marvel Universe.

J.B was one of the few who "gets it" when it came to doom he did the king proud!

I think the trick is making Doom look strangely appealing, as opposed to trying to draw him so that he looks evil and scary.

Some of the best villains in comics have a strong visual appeal.
