QUOTE:
I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but what are the little dots on Doom's cloak? |
|
|
I see them as the texture of the material.

I like all of the ones listed here, but that Doom/Globe one kicks ass. I know I'd like to own it.

Yeah -- texture. Doom's cloak is a different color
from his tunic. I added the textural dots to achieve
the effect of this difference in black and white.
(Couple of images I got distracted -- probably taking
on the phone -- and textured all the cloth. Oops.)

I like this shot, particularly the angle:
It even shows Doom using his sidearm.

Doom enraged with Kristoff.
***
One of my personal favorite Doom moments. He's calm, he's cool, he's collected. Then --- >SNAP< and he comes within a millimeter of killing a kid! In a nutshell, that's why he always fails in the end.
++++++++++
Such a wonderful character. At times, the nobility and the intellect and the calmness can almost reel you in, but then Doom snaps and proves just how evil and violent he can be.

Dr. Doom is one of those intriguing villains who, as much as I'd hate to be on his bad side, I would love to sit down and have a conversation with him.
