JB, I've never heard of razors being used for stars before. Could you please possibly show an example sometime?

Very nice, William. There's just something about single pose shots that also happen to tell a story. My commission is in that club as well. Too bad mine was done before JB started adding credit lines! (sob)

More "in between" than "before", Vinny. I try to remember to add 'em when I find out who the customer is, but it doesn't always happen. And, of course, if I started doing it retroactively -- well, that would be too much work for Dan!!

Every new Galactus image I see from you will go into the 'more
than special' section in my memory. Especially since he is
about to become the victim of a heinous crime in the 'movie' this
weekend.
Galactus is among the most unique creations in comics in my
mind. I am grateful that he is still being represented properly.
There is also no doubt in my mind that a Fantastic Four movie
with the proper screenplay, script, cast, director and budget
could bring THIS GALACTUS to the big screen and leave the
audience spellbound!
...but I digress.

There is also no doubt in my mind that a Fantastic Four movie with the proper screenplay, script, cast, director and budget could bring THIS GALACTUS to the big screen and leave the audience spellbound! *** Whenever a Hollywood guy says they can't bring a comicbook character to the screen in literal form because it would "look goofy", or some variant, all I hear is an admission of failure. Handed a drawing assignment, I have never once, in 30 years, said "I can't do this. The character looks goofy." In fact, from the earliest days of my career, Roger Stern used to say one of my mutant powers was taking the goofiest looking characters and making them look, if not real, at least believable. But, then, I am neither ashamed of, nor embarrased by what I do for a living. Ask me to bring Galactus to the silver screen, and I will find a way to do it. I will not run away, which seems the standard H'wood response.
*To be fair -- and this is not a cue to turn this thread into a discussion of the upcoming or previous movies -- I have not heard any reason given for Galactus being a "cloud" in his screen debut. Perhaps the real Galactus will emerge from that cloud in the 3rd film.

With Galactus being the cause of the Big Bang it would be interesting to set up Frankie as an Eve-type figure with an Adam coming from her rib.
(remember where this idea came from when it sees print later)

Great commission! I really enjoy it and can see it being in the last few pages of the dream-version complete book of "The Last Galactus Story".
