I don't believe there was ever a HC of JB's Man of Steel.  Does anyone remember the contest cards that were found inserted into the spine of  JB's Man of Steel issue #1?  One of the prizes was a bound edition (TPB before they were commonplace) of all six issues.  I bought 2 issues of the Direct Sales market cover (and 1 of the newstand version) and took a shot by sending in the form from one of them... and won one of the trades.  Was thrilled at the time.  Still own it.  Anyone else win one?

No, I bought mine.  I used to Have Superman #300 until recently.  I never made the connection between it and my pocketbook.

As for the numbering scheme, Marvel never did a #4, did they?

No, but without looking, I would guess the next one was the Wolverine trade. I will look tonight when I get home.

Thanks for the back-up, Michael!  I've been off on more than a couple of points here recently, and I began to get a little anxious after I posted that!  Ah, those Curt Swan aliens... I miss them.  I really do.
