Thanks.

I just noticed there's some bleed through on the scan of the IM sketch and you can see some of the eyes from the Shadowhawk sketch behind it coming through. The paper is thin enough that when laid flat you can see the next pic underneath it, and I didn't realize that until I took a good look at the scan then went back and checked the sketchpad.

If you see G.W. Fisher at a con, I definitely recommend stopping by his table. He had several books filled with original art as well as prints, and his black and white original art blew the prints away. I went when he didn't have a lot of people at his table, so me, my best friend and a guy who brought a portfolio containing a full story he illustrated (didn't catch his name, but the art was great) and was getting some advice spent quite a bit of time talking to him. One of the friendliest creators I've ever met.

Here are the two prints I got (part of the border of the Noto print is cut off, because I scanned them side by side and cut them into two pics and the scanner wasn't big enough, really):

I missed a chance to get a third print, by Tom Nguyen, and forgot to hit Andy Smith, Billy Tan and Mark Sparacio's booths. (By 4pm I was worn out - mainly, by right knee was killing me)

I bow down to J.R. Jr. on a daily basis.

I like his work on Nocenti Daredevil with Al Williamson inking and his collaboration with FM on Man Without Fear. Can you tell I"m out of the loop with his more recent stuff?

Kevin,

I'm not a Wolverine nor Black Panther kind of guy... but, I would love to get those issues for the Romita Jr. are alone.  Do you (or anyone else) have easy access to which issues of each series he drew?  And, do you think they might be available in TPB sometime?

Thank you,

JRjr on WOLVERINE in TPB:

Wolverine: Enemy of the State Vol 1

Wolverine: Enemy of the State Vol 2

Really great stuff.  I'm usually not much of a Millar fan, but this run is fantastic.

And JRjr did the first six issues of The Black Panther.  His Rhino was sublime.

He's a nice guy too. Came over here for a convention and seemed genuinely interested in hearing what people had to say. Very gracious and very funny.

Thanks for all the suggestions and links. Plan on rereading his Thor run also. Need a few more issues to complete his run.

I bought the Wolverine & Black Panther runs solely for the Romita art.  Then I sold them.  Now I have HCs all signed by Romita.  I love 'em!

Marc, here are some pics for you.  This is Romita's recent Sentry trade.

Buy it for the art!
