Sorry, L.Walker, I apologize for the unwarranted spoiler. Since it was all over
the websites I read (e.g. aintitcoolnews etc.) I made the wrong assumption
that most people on the forum are familiar with leaked details from the next
FF-movie.
Dear Forum-moderator: If possible remove the Spoilers about the Galactus-
appearance in the FF2.

How is that a spoiler? It's not some big secret about the movie.

He looks like he's wearing a neck brace! --------- My Client Mr. Galactus was minding his own business feeding off the life force of planets when Mr. EGO here rear-ended him.

To remain spoilerific, I've inviso-texted the pertinent references to Galactus in FF2.

I don't think he actually is. I think it's a representation, rather than his true self. Sort of like God appearing a burning bush to Moses, but didn't mean God was literally a burning bush, just how he chose to appear.

Marin Balabanov: "Sorry, L.Walker, I apologize for the unwarranted spoiler."
It happens.
Zaki Hasan:
"How is that a spoiler?"
Because it gives away certain aspects of the story. If someone posts that Galactus isn't going to appear in a FF film that has the Silver Surfer, it tells me what to expect while watching the film.
Zaki Hasan: "It's not some big secret about the movie."
It doesn't have to be a secret to be a spoiler.

********
Of course it does. Thus the term "spoiler" -- as in "ruining."
By your logic, the title FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER is a spoiler, since one can probably expect the FF to meet the Surfer.

Zaki Hasan: "Of course it does."
Nope. All it needs to do is reveal a previously unknown story element to the recipient. Thus, "spoiling" it.
Zaki Hasan: "Thus the term "spoiler" -- as in "ruining."
You can still ruin story elements without said story elements having been secrets.

Yup. Marketing departments have a history of releasing information that
destroys the suspense value of the material itself. This is something
you can often find those in the creative department complaining about.
Now me, I can piece together the basics of a body of work fairly
easily. And without some form of actual suspense, I lose interest
in viewing the material. This is exactly the reason why I do not watch
film trailers. They're notorious for revealing to much of a given body of
work.
There was a recent episode of Doctor Who titled "Daleks in Manhattan". So the revelation that there were Daleks in Manhattan was a bit less than dramatic. Spoiled.

I did a search on Galactus here and didn't see it. What do you all think?
I like it! Thanks for posting the images.

For clarity's sake, a few definitions found online for spoilers:
"A spoiler is by definition any
advance information about a film before it officially opens or a TV
show episode before it airs."
"Spoilers are things often found in Internet newsgroups where you read about plot details or twists in an episode
that you would rather have been surprised about."
"A piece of information which can reveal (and thereby
"spoil") an important plot point in a movie, show, issue, etc. that the
reader has not yet seen/read."
Zaki Hasan:
"Okay, whatever."
Yup. Please use spoiler warnings or inviso-text next time. Thanks.
