That's still a cool Galactus. If the makers of the next FF-movie had used a similar approach instead of {inviso-text} making Galactus a cloud, that would have been definitely cool.

Marin, Welcome! Now, please tell me you're not serious about Galactus being portrayed as a CLOUD in FF2????

Look, if X-men wimped out on the Sentinel in X-3 you KNOW that FF2 is going to wimp out on Galactus. Hell they'll probably do some 2001 mescaline trip stuff that melts into Galactus looking like Reed's Father in his mind once big G wants to communicate.
(Although hopefully it's a Ras AlGuhl type switch and we get something better than Space Cloud or Ultimate Von Neuman Cyber Fleet Gah LAK Tuhs.).

The proportions on Galactus are a little off, but I still like the picture a lot.
I don't like the Batman picture though. Way too skinny.

The Batman one is scary-looking. Is that part of a theme? Like famine or something?

Bear in mind that we've been told we won't actually get to SEE Galactus until FF3. They've said his presence will be felt in #2, but he won't actually appear on screen.
So {inviso-text} the "speaking to the Surfer through the clouds" thing is OK by me as long as #3 produces some great visuals of Galactus himself.

Hate to break it to you, but I think you're in a for a disappointment. FF2 is complete in and of itself. Surfer doesn't {inviso-text} speak to Galactus through a cloud, Galactus is a cloud.
(And FYI, the cloud is called Gah-Lak-Tus.)

In the "Silver Surfer" animated series. Galactus was CG and pretty close to
the original Kirby-model. I remember that I was even impressed by his voice,
that seemed to come from everywhere.
Given the right staging a godlike-creature in CG is definitely the Galactus for
me! I believe that expecially Galactus is predestined for CG given the large
areas of his body covered by techno-armour.

Here's a pic I found of the animated Galactus. Don't be fooled by the "Kirby-
squiggle" on his hands. It is a CG-model rendered as a cartoon.
