I enjoyed the initial issues of Guy Gardner under the Jones/Staton creative team. It was fairly light-hearted and pretty good.

After they moved on the title began to sink fast for me.

For me, it's the hair.  The plant-guy's hair in Nathan's original post is more reasonable than Gardner's freakish bowl cut.  Can you imagine Batman trying to inspire fear in the hearts of criminals while sporting a bowl cut?  How about Superman with a bowl cut?

If I remember correctly, wasn't there a GL who was a mathmatical concept? That would get my vote for the weirdest.

= back in the early Silver Age, that would have been the the alien Tomar Re:

= a little later, the plant GL Medphyll:

= the planet GL Mogo was a great concept
= as was the blind F-Sharp Bell

There's a large French site HERE
that has oodles.)

(Further off-topic, Michael - did you used to work at PSC in Seattle? I knew a
Michael Kennedy there (not that yours is an uncommon name . . .))
