I blame it all on John!!! ;-)

I hate all of you. After seeing all these wonderful figurines I finally broke down and bought my first ones today. I bought Cyclops #25 and Dr. Strange # 40. If I end up selling my house and car to keep up with these things, you are all to blame.

*********

I think I should take the blame for this one. :-)

David, yep, you deserve part of the blame, since this thread was started by YOU!!!  But, I got hooked on the little wonders when seeing them in person at John's place.  So, I guess I get to blame you both!

Hopefully I will be able to find the ones I am missing without having to pay too much for them.  I guess this is what I get for waiting this long to get into the "game".  Best...

Since a friend currently living in England has "subscribed" to the DC figures for me, I find myself actually looking forward to the day the Marvel figures run out of characters I want (as noted above, pretty soon I would think) so I can finally arrange the ones I have in appropriate groups -- Avengers, Defenders, etc -- without having to move 'em all around every time a new one comes out!

Scott- Your LSC may be able to back order the ones you're missing. I believe all of them are still being produced. My LCS always have reorders coming in of the popular figures.

Steve, I plan to do exactly that.  I am heading into my LCS with a list of the ones I now need, and will see what they can do.  Thanks!

I felt like an idiot today at my local comic book store. I've been meaning to ask the owner for a few months if he could get these figurines in for me since he already has action figures and statues.

I was describing what they look like and he said, "You mean those?" and pointed over my shoulder to a rack of magazines that had little boxes with figurines attached. He's had them in that same spot for 6 months and because I had no idea they came with a magazine it never occurred to me they were the ones I wanted.

They look even better in person than the pictures I've seen posted. I picked up 3 for myself and one for my daughter.

The owner of my LCS said the figures weren't hardly moving at all until he took them out of their packaging and lined the up in the display case at the counter. Then they really started selling.  It's hard to see how cool they look through all that plastic.

That's how I got hooked.

My LCS had some out on shelves next to their statues and busts.

This thread makes me glad I don't have room in my apartment for these things. I don't need another addiction.

They're really very small, Aaron. They take up hardly any space.
